Welcome to Fifth Grade!

Hello everyone! I’m so excited to welcome you to our classroom community this year! After more than 20 wonderful years as a technology teacher—a role I absolutely loved—I’m thrilled to begin a new adventure as a fifth-grade teacher alongside Mrs. Thaner. While I’ll always have a soft spot for coding, keyboards, and all things tech, I can’t wait to dive into math, science, and social studies with my very own group of amazing fifth graders.

A little bit about me...
I am a self-proclaimed tech geek, educator, dog lover, crafter, beach aficionado, and DIY enthusiast. I live in Howell with my 11-year-old rescue pup, Phoebe. She is our class mascot, and students will see a lot of her throughout the year.

This year will be filled with curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and full of “aha!” moments, and I can’t wait to share that journey with each of you. Parents, I look forward to partnering with you, and students, I can’t wait to get to know all your talents, interests, and big ideas.
