Welcome to Fourth Grade!

My name is Halie Aumack, and I am so excited to be your fourth grade Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher. I have been teaching for three years, but this is my first year with Wall Township Public Schools. I am thrilled to be part of the Old Mill Elementary community!

This year, students will grow their skills in Math, Science, and Social Studies while preparing for the NJSLA. In Math, students will build their understanding of multi-digit operations, fractions, measurement, geometry, and problem-solving. In Science, students will explore topics such as energy, waves, ecosystems, Earth and space, and how the world around us works. In Social Studies, students will learn about New Jersey and United States history, government, geography, and the people and events that have shaped our country.

My teaching philosophy is simple: every child has the opportunity to learn and grow academically, socially, and personally. I look forward to creating a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, curious, and confident in themselves as learners.
